The way I see it is that these were sent in IM's. Kaala was saying something about how if it is from an enemy, don't open it... just like I'm sure none of you open up spam mail in your e-mail. Plus, if this is in PMs, why make it public?
Duncan is a very good friend of mine, so anything said to him, I took personally as well. I love that kid to death... and you guys are just being douches about it. Seriously... get over it... you keep saying that he was banned because of what happened last night, yet you bring up stuff that happened months ago... gah. I'm getting so sick of this place.
All of us who don't have a problem with someone who is different should make a different forum... and let him come. Sure, we'll still post on here, but we're not going to sit back and let people talk sh*t for no reason.

There haven't been any fun debates here since UGA left, because everyone's all "I agree because I don't want to hurt anyones feelings, teehee!"
And Andrew, he meant that by general consent of the board it wasn't allowed, not by yarny. If someone disagrees, a ton of people gang up on them and argue about it (sometimes it's handled in a mature way and sometimes not).

I didn't say argue, I said debate. Debating can be fun. Arguing not so much. That's the problem with the debates that used to happen on here, because everyone confused debating and arguing.
And on the contrary, a lot of people told him many times that they didn't want him here. He got sick of being harrassed for debating (although he did his fair share of trolling) and so he left.

all i ever remember people saying to him was to stop assuming his opinion was the only right one. he never debated. he just said "i'm right and you're wrong" 10,000 times

No, he did try to start debates sometimes. Like I said, he did do his fair amount of trolling, I'm not denying that, but sometimes people would just assume that since he was talking about something controversial he was going to be a jerk about it.

Why are you asking something that is clearly in my first post? The whole point of this post (and hence why the talk of past members) is that this board is hostile towards anyone who doesn't share the same opinion as the majority.
