Weird thing I just read.
Hemophiliacs around the late medieval era are where the theory of vampires came from. Hemophiliacs lost blood very easily, and so they believed that by drinking blood they could replenish the blood which they had lost. Hemophilia also made them very pale from blood loss.

There's different kinds of vampires, supposedly there's a "psychic" vampire (or something) that can suck a person's energy away. Hemophiliacs around the late medieval era are where the theory of vampires came from. Hemophiliacs lost blood very easily, and so they believed that by drinking blood they could replenish the blood which they had lost. Hemophilia also made them very pale from blood loss. There's also some very rare illness (dunno what it's called) where a person's urine is red and their skin blisters by the sun very easily...probably the closest thing there is to a real-life vampire. So no, I don't really believe in them, or at least not the cliched kinds that turn into bats and are undead and all. Plus goth people (or whatever) who dress silly and go to clubs very late and call themselves "vampires" don't count.
