I think the difference is in Linux vs Windows unless probos fixed it. 'Cause right now I'm using Firefox 0.8+ (old) and logged in fine from front page, but can't with the newest 1.0 in Linux. Perhaps it uses something queer like activex (even though that makes no sense, you get what I'm saying - some ghey windoze shat)
