I like the "Board History" section because I like keeping all those posts together to show the growth of the board. The section itself pisses me off because it serves no other purpose. I've been thinking about removing it, but I'm not sure. What do you think?

i dunno. it's cool the way it is. it's your board. you can change it if you want to.

I say you keep it, but lock it down so only you can post there (but others can view). That way, it doesnt get as dependent on the people that post there to be updated. When you see our posts reach a new mark, post it in the Board History section.

I have dealt with Proboards before, so I know it is possible to lock certain boards where only the administrator (or you could make it so mods and global mods could post there too) can post.

Or, you can have it so only the admin can CREATE new threads, and people can post in the threads that you create. That way, you can regulate at what time you feel it is necessary to update the status of the board with a new benchmark. Like, at 25,000 - then 30,000... etc.

I dont see much of a use for it, but it really isnt getting in our way.

You know what is getting in my way? That damn forbidden area. I felt like I've finally earned a place amongst friends here, and I cant even get to that password area... where I know many of you post (because I see it being updated all the time)!

Only I can post in the Board History area. I do move the threads down there when I feel they're basically done. I guess we think alike. It's basically a read-only section to everyone else.

A lot of posts were moved to the village. A few people who had access, turned out to be evil, so I shot them. Now it's just me and a few close friends. I mean I *could* let you post down there, but of course, I do have an interest to see the "dancing girls" at the Element 115 forum.

But if I know the people who post there, I doubt there is anything very exciting going on there.

Thats a thread Jacqui originally created, but was wiped out when the servers changed. Now I re-made it, and we post our sexy and highly erotic stories in there. Not like I have any... take a look anyway! (General Chat area)

Too bad we can't talk about that here. Proboards would kick me off. It's like in bold and underlined that we can't talk about sex or drugs. (Well, we can't promote it)

I've got English papers to do, too. I am failing all of my classes except for Music Theory because I was dweebish the last quarter and decided to only come to school like for a week during that entire 9-week period.

Yes, it was a b**ch to make up all that work that I missed.

Right now, I am doing papers on George Orwell's book 1984, which reminds me of the Van Halen album "1984."
