Hah, found this while doing some probo security digs. I'll post as much of the article as this window can handle (maybe all) and the link is right here (search for proboards or scroll down about halfway looking for BANND FROM PROBOARDS title):

Yes!!! I've been banned from Proboards!
Well, I guess it had to happen. I complained about being treated poorly and incorrectly, posted the below blog entry to Proboards support forum under the title (ban me for this), and within 5 minutes I was banned! That's efficient!
Contrast this with the 48 hour average it took them to NOT explain why my forum kept being ravaged.
Satisfied, yet disgusted. If your money is stolen by the IPIU, you can thank Proboards in part for their efforts to squash a good resource that COULD have warned you about the IPIU. But Proboards doesn't care about that. Sorry!

Update!! PI Forum not hacked! Proboards caves to fake IPIU lawyers!
(I assume, since Ryan from Proboards never EVER explained the full story... punk)
My forum was never hacked. Proboards thought they were giving me a clear indication that they didn't like the certain things we were discussing on the forum (truth, justice, freedom of speech, uncovering fraudulent activities of the IPIU or International Private Investigators Union).
How did they give me these clear indications? By NOT responding to my questions about what was happening with my forum, by NOT telling me it was them that was removing EVIDENCE from the forum and deleting threads, by leaving a unsigned message in my forum's header telling me not to post about Jeremy Lancaster and the IPIU.
*** Recent edit: I received no Private Messages or PM's about this. I received one APOLOGY from Ryan for saying I violated TOS when I didn't. ***
Now, you might think that a more clear way to tell me what was going on would be to actually tell me what was going on. I happen to agree.
So, the book reviews are gone. The school reviews are gone. The topics about the scam that is the IPIU is gone. All because Proboards lacked the spine to a) check up and find that the fake lawyers from the IPIU contacting them were fake, b) stand up for justice and protecting many young people from losing their money to the IPIU, c) be honest.
That last one is the big stinker. I hate dishonesty.
Proboards is free, so use it if you want to. But ask around first.
Unless your forum is about skateboards, or maybe removable tattoos, don't expect to stay up long. One slight problem and BAM! your forum is gone.
The bonus is you get to have a snot-nosed punk named Ryan give you some hoo-hah about why your board is missing, followed by a hollow, insincere "sorry for your loss". Sorry for my loss? Then pay me. My loss is about $1000 in time, just guessing. Glad you're sorry, will be waiting for the check.
Nothing is free. Freedom is not free. If you want to be a slave to the hormonal teenage whims of an oppressively rude cyber-elitist with a bowler hat, then I recommend Proboards. It's free, as long as you do nothing with your freedom.
So, will the Private Investigator Forum live again? We'll see. Frankly I'm so disgusted by the callous treatment of the Casper Milquetoast at Proboards and by the huge amount of time lost through their efforts to ignore fraud and truth, that I'm really thinking about becoming a hermit. You know... Sackcloth, ashes, berries, mountain springwater.
Well, maybe not. But I'm not going to be very enthusiastic about this project for a bit. It's very disconcerting to try to help people fight an injustice, and have so many doors slammed in your face. I'm also losing support from the person who originally contacted me about the IPIU. Which hurts, frankly. This is officially the last free thing I do ever. (Yeah, right).
Anyway. Don't look for the Private Investigator Forum, or information on the IPIU or International Private Investigators Union on Proboards, because they have no interest in truth, justice, or fairness. (Unless it's 'kewl')
Other than that, my experience with Proboards was just peachy!
*Disgusted*
