Have you considered InvisionFree.com?
I just signed up to a message board hosted on that server. I am pretty sure it was done for free (I mean just look at the URL). In any case, it is a good board.
So you know, I scanned thru the ToS and found some restrictions.
However, InvisionFree doesnt seem to have the "Nazi asshat" admins that everyone talks about at ProBoards... so maybe they are more lenient, or their server is more expansive and they cant keep such an eagle eye on their "clients."
If a board change is the popular decision here, then I would suggest InvisionFree.com
That being said though, I dont mind staying here at ProBoards... in fact, I would prefer it. As far as our restrictions go, we havnt really been halted - or at least I havnt. I've seen at least a few threads here with some sexual activity referenced, and never saw an admin come in here and say "Ok lets keep this to a PG rating now." I've seen threads about hacking, and they never were silenced either. So, after all the hoopla I hear of dealing with ProBoards customer service, I dont think this place is such a bad place to be.
Let me add to that; I hate relocating. I've done that for a few forums, and it sucks. I like being here because we have all of the archived stuff here at our fingertips; moving to a new server, we'd need to start from square one... and to come back here to look at these oldies-but-goodies would just be pretty d@mn inconvenient.
