Joining bandcamp can come with endless spam emails. Gotta check those settings if you sign up.

That's probably due to newer owners, as Bandcamp has changed them over twice in the last couple of years. My very first order will be four years ago next month and I don't think I've even had half a dozen e-mails from them the entire time.

It might depend on the artist and what kind of updates they send out and how often.

Yeah, it depends on what they meant. With Bandcamp I've barely gotten anything at all. If it's from an artist you can just unfollow them. There's no point in following a record label if I bought a cd from a band but don't know anything at all from, like, 12 of their other groups. Something like that I don't want to be notified of. With an outfit like Nyahh Records, they do a fair amount of e-mails but they have several good world music artists that I don't mind reading about them.

Cool. If it's more mellow, I might like it. I'd give "Faded and Fleeting" a shot. It's not heavy and it's got a saxophone on it. I'd listened to the album months ago but couldn't remember which track it was. Once the other album was announced there were less than five copies left the other week I said I'd better get them NOW. As I got the cd today, I listened to it to make sure it wasn't defective and remembered which one it was then. As usual, they included a sticker I did NOT order for free. It's not even on their merchandise page! I love the underground!
