For you youngsters who weren't around during Ye Olde Days of the Video Game Crash of '83-'84, here's my recollection of that wonderful (cough, choke *major sarcasm*) event. Luckily we won't see anything of that magnitude again...hopefully

You were lucky to get games so cheap. And you're definitely a true gamer. You've got stuff from WAY back. Too bad I'm too young to remember most of that. I wasn't even alive to live it.

You were lucky to get games so cheap. Still works nowadays too! Without any current consoles, by the time I get around to anything "new", those games are cheap by then! ;D And you're definitely a true gamer. You've got stuff from WAY back. I was born at about the right time (in my opinion), entertainment-wise: have zero 8-track tapes, not many vinyl albums/singles cluttering up the place, only a few dozen tapes, and everything else is cd, as far as the music end of it goes. So that works well, for instance. (And on the gaming end, yeah, I was there at pretty much THE very beginning!) Too bad I'm too young to remember most of that. I wasn't even alive to live it. Oh well. All gaming periods are unique, no matter where you start! Thanks for the comments though.
