HEY!!! I build 'Hydra' virii all the time out of 3D boxes that I arrange to look pretty in a glorified MSpaint program on 5 screens. We all know thats real.
Have you seen Matrix Reloaded? Did anyone else notice that Trinity uses a real SSH exploit when she's 'hacking' the backup power grid (thingy). Granted that exploit's a bit old, but massive credit to Wachowski's (or whoever arranged that) as that was the first time I've ever seen a true hack in a movie (even if she is a script kiddy ; ). -DarC

the movie didn't have any intellectual value, but then how many do?
I didn't have any real problems with it as long as I don't think about the technical aspects, then I get pissed off. The action was good (from what I remember).
I don't find Halle Berry very attractive (flame me later ; ) so the nude scenes were just annoying to me.
So yeah, it had its good and bad aspects, (good as an action/conspiracy, sh*tty if classified as a technical/hacker movie) -DarC
sidenote: of course consider "Hackers," I fly through computers all the time and read their data off translucent glass plates with huge menus on them (yet again - a good movie if you don't consider the technical).

I just saw it. Here's some help, don't see it. It sucked. It's is a superficial movie. Halle Berry got paid millions to sit there naked and flash her chest.. What's the point in that? It's a hacker movie, no? The characters were fake and had no knowledge of what they were talking about. The plot made little sense, and hardly resembled real hacking. It put me to sleep. Sometimes movie's aren't about hacking windows user - Linux Loyalist Party
