Personally, the news sucks for me. Twitch is one of the few sites that isn't banned at work. If he's going to YouTube, I can't broadcast his streams in my shop ever again. YouTube is blocked.
No exposure of his tunes to the Tampa, FL folks who need car repairs.

I was bullied off of YT twice. It's cesspool of hate over there and I don't want him to experience that. If I do watch, it'll be as a guest and I won't chat, but I'm not big on YT. I'd like to give my support, but Twitch is my goto for now.... sry. You asked for honesty. But make sure he knows I'm supporting from afar even if I don't chat. I just have PTSD from YT chats and that has nothing to do with him.

Hard to say for sure. Our govt has some internet censorship. His streams might or might not be blocked. IDK yet. Never tried to watch on TY. I guess it makes sense so people can see premiers easier, but what about the Twitch fanbase? I hope it's not blocked for me. I will try to come. Tell him he still has my support. I've been following a long time on Twitch.

kevinedward, If I come to more of your streams, will you stay on Twitch? I mean sure give YT a shot and see where it goes, but my Google is connected to a work phone at the moment. Sucks, but that's what they made me do. Can't chat on YT unless I sign up for a new account. Last time I tried, they said I can't reuse my IP address or phone #. Good luck tho. I hope all the ppl who aren't scared about privacy will still chat.

I have a google account because my phone requires one so yeah I can get on youtube. my concern is youtube chat and how the data is used.
My concern for Kevin is that youtube turned into a toxic piece of sh*t lately. It's the breeding ground for all negativity. No not everyone will like you, but even if I just watch the weather channel on YT, it's full of hate.
What happens to subs? Emotes? Bits? How can ppl tip or subscribe now?
Maybe it'll work out since all his content is on youtube and them the YouTubers can catch a show. BUT, does he want to be branded as a Youtuber? that comes with negative stereotypes. I'd rather be called a Twitch Musican than a YouTuber personally
Honestly scared that one hater will show up and report all the covers and get the channel banned.
So, pros and cons. Can't promise I'll chat, but I can watch. I want to be able to support the best I can. He's a good guy.

I think Kevin moving to YouTube only and that’s it presents challenges. I know this because a lot of people don’t go to YT chat that much because they’ve had issues in the past and YT can present challenges in terms of streaming content. I mod for a streamer and his folks don’t go on YT that much he streams on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Kick. In addition, he has had issues streaming on YT and he’s been suspended before on YouTube for stupid reasons. I mod on all of those platforms and I don’t see many people on YouTube most are on Twitch. YouTube can be very toxic in so many ways and because of that a lot of people don’t like YouTube. The chat is very fast and it’s hard to keep up plus the emotes are not good compared to Twitch. The YT chat is very limited compared to Twitch not many features at all it’s very basic. There’s a lot of evil people out there that could come in and try to flag his account and get it taken down and YT has the most trolls out of any other platform. Me personally myself don’t like YT very much either and would take Twitch over YouTube. Twitch is by far the best platform of them all. I’m definitely concerned that if Kevin moves only to YouTube he will lose a lot of viewers and followers since lots of people don’t want nothing to do with YouTube. It’s over crowded and many trolls are present on YT which creates a bad experience for everyone who’s trying to enjoy Kevin’s content. I hope my opinion is helpful because I want the best for Kevin and his community don’t want any negativity to happen to him. He’s an awesome person and a great friend love his music. Still will come on his streams if he goes on YT he has my full support him and Bigballofyarn.

Thanks so much Paul and thank you everyone for your input on the news. My hope was to bring you all over to the YouTube but you bring up great personal points and I understand if that will deter you from joining the stream.
I’m seeing a frequent pattern of people that I bring in and people that come for Christina but not any real growth and that’s what I need to focus on so I can make sure I’m also growing as a musician. I have so much fun performing for you all and I really enjoyed meeting you. I’m so glad to tune most of you into my music and that is what I’m doing this for. The fact that you all listened is amazing and I hope you will continue to do so.
The point here is to show as many people as possible and from the start twitch has been treating me poorly. I’m very sorry to disappoint you all. I’ll be visiting here frequently to keep you guys updated!
