Any of you have plans for the April 8th eclipse?
I'm sure this will come up again in another board closer to the date or on the date.
Will you travel to see the full eclipse? Will you see a partial from where you live?
Conspiracy theories say we'll have cell phone outages and be stuck in traffic for decades.
It's the hype of the year I guess.
I should get a good view from here, unless it's cloudy. Then I won't see anything.

I think I'll get a partial view if it's not cloudy. So, I'll look from my window if I'm working.

It's gonna be in the afternoon. I'll walk outside my house and hope to see something.

Not going to travel, but I'm not sure if I'm near it either.

^Check your location online and see if you are in the path.

Yeah I will, but I don't think I'll make a big event out of it.

That's fine. Your next chance will be Aug. 23, 2044

Yes. You might remember one you did a homework assignment on when you were a kid, no?

Yeah, but that was in the 90s.

I should be able to get a full view 2 hours away. So I'll be taking a drive, packing some food, and hoping I don't die in traffic with no cell service.

Not sure if I'll see anything up here.

It would be crazy if there's a solar flare and we lose cell service while stuck in massive traffic.

Should be able to see a partial in my part of PA and I won't be traveling.

I actually didn't check to see if I could see it from here. So no I'll be working and not traveling.
