Well, maybe this is over with now? Because over the weekend I found out it wasn't: once it started warming up in Denver, that brought about a new danger. Snow melting off of roofs could cause other severe problems. I think the term used was "roof avalanche". And if you've got several homes built on a sloping road and snow starts coming off them your problems aren't over with yet

Its always been safe. We got snow for three days in a row and I only scooped it up once. It has melted away by the afternoon every time. Not a good thing when you've got two snow tires on your car and you could be driving around illegally the whole time (Snow tires can drop little needle-like debris so it's not good driving around with no snow on the roads.)
