Earlier in my vip interview (Page 3) I was asked - What was the most inspirational message or lesson I have learn't and over the years, and I have learn't, is to put my trust fully in the Lord. I have had no easy hand outs in life and at one stage in debt recovery because low income. During the recovery of paying back the bank of what I owed, my wife became so ill that I had to go part-time with work and no way of paying back this debt. I prayed earnestly on what to do - The debt recovery people were wanting their money and now not in the position too pay. Lord, what am I to do. The response was to Trust In Jesus - I was to let go the fight of my effort and to trust the Lord. I rang the debt recovery and explained that I was not able to repay as I no longer had a sufficient income and a few weeks went by with a court hearing. The judge who heard the situation knew that I could not repay and it was of no fault of my own that the money could be repayed and the debt was cleared. 

Jesus reminds us in Luke 12:7 that -  even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows. He also reminds us that Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 

If you have a church you can goto - Go there - Some churches can even help with medical expenses - Trusting in the Lord to me is the only way forward.

The only snack we had in our time was either jam sandwich or just sweets. Very limited then on what was a snack.

When I left school, I found a few small term jobs - then, in 1987 I was employed by a children's charity to work behind the scenes of being the maintenance person there. I stayed with the charity up until 1993 of when my wife became seriously ill and needed to spend my full time support to her which I still do now.

The maintenance roll included not just the constant repairs to the building and the daily maintenance to the grounds but I was required to make equipment aid's for children. A labour of love as the pay was very small.
