I don't really like going out in big groups and forums like this make me really grateful that I can come and go, post, and chat, and feel comfortable.   |

I'm forced to socialize at work and a bit in NY because of where I live. But we also have an eff offf culture in my area where you just don't make eye contact or talk to people lol.
So this forum is good for me.

Yes, forums and chats mostly. I stay away from Twitter. It's not the place to have a good discussion.

I think online communities are a blessing, especially for people who feel they are introverts or those who just don't get out much, or even just don't want to be around people in a physical sense. Sometimes it's easier to type out your feelings than say them out loud.

It's good when you have a lot you want to talk about, and then you can't get out all your thoughts before anyone interrupts you.
