I'm at work at 4:15AM this morning and will put in 12+ hour days through Wednesday, as we are doing a physical inventory. But, I am still grateful for my job, that is steady and I never have to worry about being let go. A lot of people complain about companies and working, which I get, if I didn't HAVE to work, I wouldn't, but it is still the world we live in, and I'm thankful for what they provide me.

I'm grateful in the sense that it pays the bills. But I'd rather be doing something else.

Why do you never have to worry about being fired? I guess I could certainly get fired still. I just meant I don't have to worry about being laid off because of slow business or something of the like, the odds are low |

I don't HATE my job, but if I won the lottery tomorrow, I would not keep working. You can be thankful you have something and not be in love with it - that's where I stand with my job haha. It's still a job. |
