I think I'd appreciate it more as an adult.
Back then it was like whyyyyyy this happened so long ago... what do I care. Blah blah.
I didn't appreciate it for anything.

We had to watch Roots and had some racist teachers. World History made me uncomfortable.

I didn't appreciate it then and now the state of things in education seems weird. With everything getting banned, what are kids able to learn?

The subject matter interested me, but my teachers were really rude and did not make the topic fun, so at the time I hated the classes.

I didn't like my teachers and spent the whole classes doodling. Now I think I missed out. But I have the rest of my life to learn.

I liked learning about history and different cultures even if I got bad grades.

Things were different when I was in school 60+ years ago. Women barely received an education and I was never allowed to finish.
