Did anyone have to take a Speech class? It was required in high school when I was a teen. I have a huge gigantic fear of speaking in front of crowds, so I opted for a Speech Through Acting class. It was fun but annoying. I felt like I was making a fool of myself half the time.

It was fun but annoying. I felt like I was making a fool of myself half the time. Unfortunately that's the way it is with performing, everyone ends up doing something that they're not comfortable with (until they can call their own shots once they get rich and famous, but until then...). |

That's why I currently stick to being an extra (in the background with others). |

To this day, I have speech anxiety. I can't get up in front of a room, even if they are my friends.

Wonder what they were trying to prepare us for. How many people have to give speeches every again after delivering class presentetions?

I got so nervous before one speech that I ran out and puked in the bathroom. It was terrible.

Wish I could tell you why it made me so uncomfrtable. 1/2 the audience probably isn't listening or looking anyway. But it was torturous.
