This is a rant about how I am so stuck in the past. Even though I don't ever think about specific people from high school, I remember specific feelings from high school and I can still relate to those teen movies where the bullied kid gets their revenge and I feel happy when the jerks get their karma. Seems immature when you're getting old, no? I don't know. I guess this is kind of a rant because I can't delete some things in my head. I don't actively think about high school at all. I hope this makes some sort of sense.

I still relate to high school films too and I'm way older than high school age. Maybe they're just memories that stick.

Yeah and it's weird because I don't think I'd even rewrite high school, but I still want to see some people fall as sick as that sounds.

I don't think you even want to see those specific people fall. You haven't seen them in what, 20 years? You just want the feelings to fall. Am I right?

You might be right. It's not specific people. It's just the concept of a high school bully that I want to die.

High school can shape a lot of our memories and how we treat people today. Those people don't matter anymore. It's fine to still relate to HS films. Just don't let old memories hurt today.

I'm over 50 and I still relate to teen films. I guess part of a lot of people gets stuck with high school memories. I wasn't even a bullied kid either. But I still relate to them.

Mr. White, Interesting how that works. My mom admitted to me she watches teen films too.

I'm still really drawn to high school shows and films, but I don't think I'm trying to rewrite my life either. I don't know WHY they are so appealing. I'm nearly 40!

Maybe it's natural to always relate if you went to a public school. Maybe they were impactful years. Vent more if you want.

I get it and I get how you're not hurt anymore, but I think sometimes those feelings live inside you. So adults can watch high school dramas and still relate.

Could be that you just like the genre and you're not really living in the past.

Old lady here and high school dramas are all I watch. Maybe we're not so weird.

What exactly is an adult movie or show? Two and a Half Men?
