It was always made to look cool and trendy and I don't know why. Times have changed and we now have commercials and billboards telling us that Big Tobacco is the devil.
I guess I did think it looked "cool" at one point in my life. Trying a cigarette was also the biggest choking fit of my life.

In some cases, it's still made to look trendy and cool, but there's nothing trendy about a slow death.

I hate how they made it look cool. SOO many of my friends got hooked from so young and still smoke 20 years later.

I think it's still portrayed as "cool." The trendiness of it never died. But nowadays, kids are into vaping.
