For years, Imgur has made sharing photos and GIFs on the internet as easy as uploading a file — you don't even need an account to use it. Now the website has announced a change to its Terms of Service that could potentially erase years of internet history. Starting on May 15th, Imgur will be deleting "old, unused, and inactive content" that's not tied to a user account, so plenty of images posted on random websites online could disappear overnight.

This likely won't affect much on here, but I am making an announcement in case images within any old posts disappear. This forum has two built-in image uploaders for images you want to share within posts. There is a built-in avatar uploader for your avatar. I will update the "Forum FAQ" announcement and remove Imgur as a suggested host. However, you are free to create an account there if you still want to use their services.

Avatars and signatures should not be hosted on Imgur anyway. If you need me to host a small image for you to use in your profile, let me know. If you find a broken image, let me know.
