Hoping it's the good kind of busy and not the bad kind , good and bad kind of busy. A friend bent the rudder and tiller on her boat in the middle of nowhere. Which is quit near to here but takes about 10 hours to get to at 3Mph by river. I had to go and tow them to a boatyard another 20 hours further away. So a nice and cold four day trip for me and my boat will end up at least a 3 day journey from home. Door to door it's 45 minutes by train and walking to/from the stations. Always enjoyable and funny and only one trip to the emergency room for a few stitches this time. 👌 I can read my phone whilst driving but writing is impossible because of the engine vibration. |

Here goes; オタク otaku. Nearly went to Japan in the 90's but never made it. I was doing some voluntary work in South Korea and we planned to get the boat across to Tsushima. Sadly the minibus broke down and it took days for the parts and a new driver to get to us so we ran out of time. The closest I've been to Japan is a beach near Busan. Those3Words. Favourite OS is Linux (Arch for preference) followed by NT then XP. Despite it's limitations Windows 10 mobile for the price vs quality and useability. I'm a big fan of old soft & hardware when they do what you need. I dot my I. I don't watch sport and have too many injuries to take part in them. My favourites where white water kayaking and a bit of rock climbing and cycling. Also used to enjoy long distance, endurance kayaking and climbing & hiking. Esther. Fav shoe is the walking boot, the Gore-Tex ones not the leather. Why? They're warm, comfortable, practical and don't make my feet stink. They're also not a fashion statement so they match all my clothes. Next? |
