Ha, yeah, pathetic to do a review of my own handle, eh? Oh wait, I already did! Wow, back in 2004; hard to believe its been that long. Hey, my photos are still coming up! They're pretty small though since back then I had to take a brief movie with the digital camera and then export a frame as a picture. Not bad for back then but they haven't aged well, and emulators could be a confusing pain in the ass to get to work (maybe some of them still are?), so I didn't bother.
Just for a brief recap, created by the puzzle geniuses at Psygnosis (but distributed by Electronic Arts), this is a unique puzzle/platformer/shooter that I don't think sold real well; I don't recall seeing it at any stores myself (yet I live in the fourth largest city in my country with plenty of gamers here) and really lucked out in renting it at a nearby place, then buying it at Funcoland a few years later, I think, for my Sega Genesis (it also came out for the Atari ST under the name The Killing Game Show, also the name used for the Japanese Mega Drive version).
One thing you'll have to ignore are the Rapidshare links for parts of the soundtrack at the end; those links went dead lllllong ago. However, you can hear the cool synth soundtrack below!
No, you don't have to go through the whole eight minutes; it's looped. I'll admit it starts off kind of cheesy and possibly even la-de-dah sounding, but it speeds up at 2:58, then the lead keyboard riff at 3:37 elevates it to new heights, and then the slowdown at 4:04's great There were times I would finish a level right when that part hits, bringing you to the end screen, making a fitting intro to the next level, and then it then repeats at 4:22.
Well, at least this more modern cell phone pic is a bit better
