It is my wish and goal to keep in touch with people. Some say they want to and then disappear. Other times, I have trouble replying. I will make a better effort. Every day. It's hard sometimes. People will show up once a month with a nine paged email and I get overwhelmed. I'd prefer daily chit chat. |

At that point I'd prefer an actual letter or a phone call. |

Do you find it weird that they say they want to keep in touch, but then they can't uphold their end of the bargain?

Yeah but it might be one of those things that they just say because they don't expect it to actually happen like "oh, we should do lunch."

I've been working on this myself. Sometimes I notice how much I want to be left alone though. It's a tough position. I think we all need to find our balance.
