I'm interested. Despite possible package struggles, I would be willing to put up with that. I think the uplift in spirits that this activity brings would make it worth participating anyway. I can usually find a way to budget another 30+ bucks in even with holiday spending. I understand possible hesitation with everything going on and I'd like to suggest if we can't drum up interest for gift exchange maybe at least consider doing a card exchange because I think it's a lovely way to connect and be social within our forum friends here and I feel like 2020 has given us plenty reason for our spirits to need a bit of uplifting.

What if people need to be matched with people they had before?

What if people need to be matched with people they had before? It's a possibility if only the same people want to participate. I have a chart of who sent to whom every year and I always try to make the pairings unique and easy for everyone.

Were there any issues ever?

Were there any issues ever? Every single person who participated always sent out and received gifts. However, last year, one participant was never able to make an unboxing thread showing off the gifts they received. They ended up with personal problems and did make us aware of them as soon as possible. I wouldn't consider this a problem, but it was the only "hiccough" we encountered on our end. Like I mentioned in my original post, there may be concerns over shipping, delivery, and shopping. We still have time to see how things unfold.

OH wow. I hope that member is OK! I'm sure there are no hard feelings there.
Sounds like it's been positive for everyone.

Amazon isn't shipping anything, BUT malls are open. I can go shopping in person which I'd prefer to do anyway. Put me down for maybe.

lithiumkat Essential items have priority. Two of my non-essential orders have been canceled w/o reason in the past month. I have noticed that deliveries are often slower than what Amazon prime usually (pre-covid) provided but even "non-essential" things have been coming to me with no real problem aside from just maybe taking a few days longer than what it used to. I've definitely never had anything cancelled. Sorry to hear that you are dealing with this! :/

Don't feel pressured. It's a lot of work for Christina. So, it's fine to take a break one year if that's what's best for everyone. But I don't know how things are in other states.

Imo, someone else should take charge so you get to play for once! You're so kind.

We’re still getting non essentials from amazon too.
Anyways, I would love to participate if I can budget it. I know that sounds insane to say over $30-40 bucks, but we’re not even going to be able to finish the house as it is. Haha. Sooooo put me down as a maybe for now!
