She's usually pretty quick and writes the announcement in the day she knows it's gonna happen. There is no rule, but I agree to let her have the announcement be the actual 1M post.

Based on some of the numbers I've been collecting, we seem to be getting somewhere in the ballpark of 250-300 posts per day. The fact that no one claimed December 12-14 is interesting, then, because it could very well land on one of those dates. There is also a mini-desert from December 17-19. |
