Seems like I won't see the beach this year. Kind of sad. Not sure yet whata's going to happen. I have all month to decide. The plus is that if they're still open, no one will be allowed anywhere near me. No one will bring their screaming kids, and it'll finally be quiet..

My "beach" this year might be a few trips to a private lake. Much better than a crowded beach.

I'm set on visiting a lake a few times too. No oceans unless I can avoid the crowds.

I have only been to the beach once in my life and I was too young to really remember it. It's dirty lakes for me! haha

I'm fine not going this year. It'll be too crowded if things reopen now.

I don't think ours are technically closed, but lifeguards aren't on duty. Hmmm.

I just found out that ours are open with social distancing rules. I hope people won't be packed.

Might be safe to sit in your backyard for a tan.

^That's what I will probably do even though I don't have a pool anymore.

I miss those 1-day trips, but it's too damn hot outside, even to go to a beach.

I'm missing cool, dry air the most this summer.

I've stopped at a few lakes, but I probably won't dip in the ocean.

I hope to dip my feet in the sand once this summer.
