Talira GreycrestWhat type of dino was Barney? Serious question. He was friendly, but obviously fictional. What about Dino from the Flintstones?

If Fred had one as a pet, maybe it was possible. I'd like to believe it happened.

I'm sure they would have been just as scary as most animals can be. Most animals see humans as a threat.

The song is called 'My Pet Dinosaur':
Fred is my pet dinosaur, he lives in our backyard, I'd like to bring him in the house, but mum says it's too hard. She thinks he might mess up the place, and maybe she is right, So he stayed outside quite happily, at least until tonight.
The rain was falling steadily, the wind was howling, too, He looked so cold and sad out there, well what else could I do? I waved my hand and called to him, his frown turned to a grin, He bounded right up to the door, but couldn't quite get in.
My dinosaur got stuck in the door, and now I am in trouble, He can't get out, he can't get in, better get help on the double. My mum will be home very soon, she'll be mad at me, it's true, Coz my dinosaur got stuck in the door, and I don't know what to do.
My little brother came to help, and saw my worried stare, He scratched his chin and thought a bit, then took off up the stairs. He came right back and grinned at me, and handed me some soap, He said "Start in! There's not much time! It is our only hope."
We soaped that poor stuck dinosaur, and rubbed him busily, We pushed and pulled and tugged and groaned, till finally he slipped free. We fell out, too, with great relief, and collapsed upon the path, Then mum appeared and said, "How nice. You're giving Fred a bath!"
My dinosaur's not stuck anymore, I guess I'm not in trouble, With a little bit of soap he slipped out the door, and now he's covered with bubbles. I'll love him and I'll play with him, but I know where he'll reside, He won't get stuck in the door anymore, he's going to stay outside.

Was it ever recorded?
