by Ralph Marston
When you’re unsure of what you’re doing, hurrying through it does not improve your outcome. When you don’t know where it is you must go, going quickly will not get you there.
If you think dashing around makes you look important, you’re mistaken. It shouts to the world of confusion, disorganization, aimlessness and insecurity.
Here’s a strategy far superior to hurrying. Start sooner.
Start sooner, and give yourself the luxury of being calm, focused, highly effective, and more pleasant to be around. Start sooner, and leverage your time instead of rushing to squeeze your efforts into it.
Work, play, and live at a pace that enables life’s richness to come to full fruition. Get the very most out of your time by beginning to make good use of it the instant it arrives.
Even if you’ve been late all your life, you can begin right away to start sooner. Start sooner, for a new moment, laden with brilliant possibilities, has just been added to your life. © 2019 Ralph S. Marston, Jr.

This is really good advice. Lots of food for thought.

As soon as I figure out what I want, I know I'll get there sooner.

I love this, but we don't have to rush either. It takes some of us longer to find out what we want.

I'm one of those people who's always indecisive. Maybe that's why a lot of days I don't feel like I've accomplished much.

How can you start if you don't know where to go? It's the mystery of life.

He has a lot --
Give goodness by Ralph Marston
Give goodness, not in the abstract, but in real places, with real people. Give goodness, not as a vague idea, but to a specific moment.
There’s quite a lot you can do to lift up life, here and now, as you are. And nothing is as satisfying as doing so.
Rather than accumulating more reasons to boast about yourself, give goodness. If you want people to care about what you achieve, pursue achievements that improve their world.
Give goodness because you can. Give goodness because it makes a difference that reverberates through lives, through time.
In ways large, small, and in between, give goodness. In ways that inspire you to give even more, give goodness.
Put your love for life into loving action. Give goodness.

He lets you share them too, as long as you credit his name.
I saved one from July that I never posted here.

He's quoted as saying this, "Don’t let what happened a moment ago diminish what you can do now. Don’t allow a disappointing morning to ruin a perfectly good afternoon."
