I was suspicious of the dad from the beginning. Never the mom until after she tried to drug him. Not gonna post spoulers. The ending was a surprise.

It was pretty straight forward that Eli was the son of the devil and never really allergic to anything. Hence the whole exorcism. Not really sure how he killed his dad though, unless that guy wasn't his real dad. Which would make sense considering they were going to visit dad at the end after the other dad was killed.
