Friends and your significant other.
My GF, friends and I barely text and never call each other all day. We save that banter for when we’re home together / out together / in person so we actually have things to talk about while we’re around each other. I’ve got friends and co workers who are constantly texting and calling all day long. It baffles me. Does no one have friendships in person?
Are you in constant contact or do you just save it?

My ex would want to text me all day then she got annoyed when we didn't really communicate at home. I explained to her that if didn't talk all day long we'd have things to talk about while making dinner, sitting at home, etc. It took her a few weeks but she figured it out.

Rarely.. we are usually both too busy to chat. Only texts are who is picking up what and when for dinner

Sometimes yes, sometimes no... depends on what's going on in our lives. I'm not on my phone all day at work though.

We chat here and there throughout the day. Nothing big. Just stuff to pass time with different people.

Usually just little stuff here and there with different people. Totally depends on how busy we are or if I'm traveling or not.

not really. If something big is going on at work or in our lives that day we'll update each other, or if something out of the ordinary happens, but for the most part, not really.

It's pretty uncommon for me to go an entire work day without some kind of contact, yeah. Even if it's just memes.

I'm the same with everyone - a couple messages here and there to see how each other's days are going

Most of my relationships we'd text all day and not run out of sh*t to talk about in person. I tend to talk a lot of nonsense and the people who fall for me as frriends or lovers, seem to like the random banter.

i've done it and it was incredibly distracting, but this is different for everyones job.
i have friends though at work who text all day, call home on every break and rush out to their vehicle when they clock out to go home just to get on the phone and talk to their wives the entire drive home. creepy.

The quieter the better. I'd prefer to never text.

My SO will text back and forth while running errands. And we would text while I was at work, but only on my lunch break.
I don’t text friends back and forth on a daily basis, but I will occasionally text something if I’ve though of them, saw something they’d like, etc.
I text my best friend back and forth maybe about once a week, but we’re too busy to see each other frequently. The texts we send are novels about real estate, children, homesteading, and ethics so they’re pretty in depth. It would be more akin to sending an email, but we still do it via text.
