This is a message from Jim's sister.
He is being transfered into a Convalescent facility. He will not be able to ever go home. He has to have the oxygen mask on to breathe. It is a machine so he has to be monitered so he needs 24 hr. care. This oxygen mask coveres his mouth and nose with a strap that goes around to the back of his head.I just found out after taking a phone call break writing this to you that the convalesent facility is a Hospice care only facility.It is called Caris care in Tenessee. It is for terminal patients with 1 year or less to live that are in too bad of a condition to have the care at home. Jimmy don't have long to live he is in seious condition. When the hospital cannot do anymore for you with a terminal illness then they admit you to this type of hospital.cause you still need medical care.He always will have to have this care. I am so sorry to have to give you this bad news but we all have to try to accept that he is in bad shape.

Thank you so much for the update. I know it must be overwhelming to have to repeat the same thing to so many people. I do know how you feel though. I lost one of my cousins earlier this year to cancer. She was in her 40s. Even Jim is too young too die. I know that acceptance is probably the healthiest option, but there's nothing wrong with being hopeful. If God wants Jim to get up and run a mile, then it will happen. If God wants Jim to come home, then my cousin will warmly welcome him in Heaven.
