i was on lexapro for my depression for a long while, a few years. the only thing i warn you is that you might gain a lot of weight. it did that to me, at least, and my sister's friend who's taking it currently as well.
i hope it works out for you though

i just gained. it's a side effect. it makes you gain weight.
