Quite an interesting thing happened today. I came home to a giant box from the North Pole. I'm not participating in the forum's Secret Santa, however and my friends haven't yet mailed out my gifts. There is a clue - a local newspaper that was used to cushion the box. I feel honored and special that someone out there thinks I'm worthy of receiving multiple gifts and is selfless enough to not even want the credit. I can't wait until Christmas to open these amazing gifts. I hope all of you have amazing Christmases as well.   |

Holy crap, did I read that letter correctly? MONEY TOO? I did not yet open the card or any of the gifts. I put the gift with the escaping feet into a gift bag so I can safely place it under my tree until Christmas. Yes, you read the letter correctly. However, as evidence by the mystery package alone, I am blessed far beyond most people, and will use the money to help someone or some people who need it more. |
