Same as above. We can have completely different views and go as far as saying "you're wrong, here's why" and there's never insults of character.

It's because we all genuinely care about each other, here, in my opinion. And we all realize that everyone else here is a human being. There is a lot of acceptance here. I have strong opinions and no one ever makes me feel bad for having strong opinions, even if they disagree with me and in turn, I never hate them (and hope that comes across in my posts), even when they completely disagree with me. Honestly, this forum is what everyone in the world wishes freedom of speech could be. We all talk. We don't necessarily come to the same conclusions, but we get our thoughts and feelings out, consider each other's opinions, and then move on to the next thing. This is one of the few places in the world where I can be myself. Me too. A lot of people do have differing views. It's not like we're a cult of "oh I agree peace and harmony." It's the way that people express those views that makes this place unique. |
