I want a controversial interview. Would True Patriot accept? Why am I considered controversial? I guess because I don't hold back and try to tell it like it is. Hopefully there will come a day when the opposite is considered controversial as it used to be. I gave an interview in August of 2013. --> HEREAfter some nasty attacks from a drive-by who joined just to do so, that were later deleted, and the typical antagonistic exchanges with Shadow, it was quite uncontroversial. There were many kind words and compliments. As an example, " I think I've enjoyed learning about you more than any other motm." was a very nice comment from Alexander. |

^FYI, you gotta remember that if you are disliked, it is not by many at all. We're all nice to you. That's not what one popular forum moderator has said on the open forum as she was referring to me as an assh*le and suggesting I delete my account. I happen to know it's a small minority that seeks to marginalize me, it always is, but please don't ask me to pretend or forget what is real and to ignore the willful ignorance and enabling that exists with flowery words. I'm not a game player. If you want it straight, direct and truthful then I'm your man, if you want a go-along-to-get-along phony-smile faker then I'm not. I am what I am and I'm pretty damn good at being who I am so there is no need to pretend to be someone that I'm not like so many other people do habitually. FYI, you gotta remember that I'm as cordial to genuine people as they are to me, and the number of people that I illustrate as being obnoxious and deceitful are essential the same few that we have both mentioned. |

Christina has been pretty fair to me on her own behalf and has been decent and I don't want to cause a conflict considering what she has been going through and I don't want to hurt what I think is otherwise a terrific forum with an amazing diversity of opinions and personalities. However, the truth is the truth even if it comes across as accusatory or adversarial. I've asked Christina in the past if the staff approves of the actions that have been taken and the incendiary and false things that have been said to and about me. The response is that I'm a valued and contributing member of the forum, the staff is trusted, that a situation does not exist, that I'm misguided in thinking I'm being targeted, that no one is trying to 'hurt' me and to not take anything personally. However, I do take being called an assh*le, a racist, a liar and being portrayed and called a retard and being purposefully misquoted and lied about...among other things...personal. I guess it must be a flaw in my personality to feel that way, but it's just the way I am. I don't ignore reality and I don't kowtow to thuggish behavior even if the agitator is a moderator of a forum. The comments below were not deemed offensive when they were directed at me in the thread from which they exist, but if they are deemed offensive here then please let me know and I'll remove them.
I don't call you an assh*le when you're just responding to threads like a normal human being which you rarely do...
And I don't need your approval for how I moderate like I said. I have the moderator powers. You don't and so you got to obey our rules. And if you really didn't like our rules you'd delete your account. If they were really unfair to you, you'd be gone. But you lie when you say that. You love it here. So suck it up. I didn't read most of what you posted and it doesn't matter. I'm the moderator and you're not. If I am cruel and unusually horrible like you say I am then you can delete your account. But you won't because you know you're a liar.
I don't need your approval to be a good moderator. I just am one whether you like it or not.
So if you don't like it, go to your profile and delete your account. Otherwise suck it up and quit whining. How old are you that you still whine like a child? I don't have to justify my actions to you. You don't get that your opinions don't matter here. I'm the moderator so you should be more concerned about my opinion of you actually because if the topic of you banning ever comes up and you don't want to be banned then you better hope most of the moderators like you. Your threads will also be locked less if more moderators like you.
You're just a member of this forum. An old man cranky member who whines like a two year old. When people have legitimate problems I don't mind them whining but I know you're not really unhappy because you never delete your account.
You just like calling people names because it makes you feel less bad about being an old man who no one cares about that has done nothing with their life.
I am an assh*le towards you. So if it takes one to know one, then please accept that you're a horrible assh*le and that I should know what I'm talking about.

They make mistakes and say things in the heat of the moment. That being said, those are taken out of context and were merely demonstrating the point that if he feels he is in such a hostile situation and is being targeted and hated, there is the simplest of solutions - walk away. It's the internet. It's pretty easy to get away from a bad situation. We aren't in high school, where you are forced to interact with your bullies on a daily basis. You can remove yourself from the hostile situation that causes you so much grief with ease.
And if you've made friends here and enjoy talking to them, keep in contact with them before leaving. The solution being so easy, and not being taken, it's safe to say the "hate" and "targeting" he puts up with must not be very severe or damaging to his psyche.
