Yes and no. I tired coding this a while back, but it had problems. I have to make direct edits to the profile and mini profile codes. Instead of the image that we all have now, we'd have a text entry. The second problem is that it can't say "gender" because Proboards already uses that. The third problem is that adding an image wasn't working. The fourth problem is that I can only come up with a handful. Facebook has a list of over 50, most of which I've never heard about. I could leave the field blank for people to enter their own word, but I think we'd all lose the image.
Everyone would end up with something like:
Selected Gender: Female
or
Sex: Male
or
Identified Gender: Transgender
or
Another Variable Name: Another Gender

Can you do it by request for one profile? Just a Q, even if you are Trans, aren't you technically a new gender? So wouldn't you pick the new one? |
