If you could carry only one firearm with you for the rest of your life, which one would it be? for carrying, it's the ruger SR series 9e 9mm. Ruger makes a fine handgun. I own an SR9C myself; it's very comfortable to shoot. Since you mentioned it, the SR series is very similar to the Glocks: polymer frame, striker fired, and so on. Some people prefer the SR trigger and others love the Glock. For what it's worth, I like that the SR series offers a manual safety, and the takedown is simple. I'm a happy customer.

Have you ever been skiing? nope. spending most of my life in southern california wasn't exactly the most conducive thing in the world. i'm not sure that i could. i've never been skating, roller or ice, because no place had shoes that would fit me

I don't know why, but I always gravitate toward the compact and subcompact models. The SR9C is about the size of a Glock 26, but for some reason, I like the feel of the Ruger over the baby Glock. I'd love to own a Glock 19 one day; it's not as large as a 17, but still fills the hand pretty well.

Do you have any favorite quotes? quite a few. one of my favorites is my version of john dunne. every man is an island, entire unto himself, no man's death diminishes me so i'll send to know for whom the bell tolls 'cause it DON'T toll for me my favorite is the one true thing that chairman mao ever said. peace comes from the barrel of a gun

If you had one "do over" opportunity in your life, what would it be?

If you had one "do over" opportunity in your life, what would it be? i wouldn't change anything that had any kind of effect on my life. even the bad things shaped something. any one thing changing in the course of your life would change your entire life. that said, there is ONE thing that i would change, because it had no lasting effect on my life. in 1981, a girl took the night off work so she could be with me. i was at the bar early, and got wasted enough to take another girl home before millie got there. i have always regretted that, because it was inexcusable. actually, i hadn't thought about it for twenty years, then, the past few months, it has just popped into my head. i have no idea why

it depends. i said somewhere before, i can build a house from the ground up. for the past twenty-five years, since i got hurt, i still KNOW how to build a house from the ground up, but could never do it again. simple things around the house, like changing faucets, light switches, and the like, i can still do, as long as i can take my time doing it. i can build the house, but i know absolutely NOTHING about cars, so, i'm definitely not handy there
