From April 1st through June 30th, we will be donating to the Salvation Army. It appears that there are hundreds of local donation sites so that you can donate to your own Salvation Army. Instead of picking a national base, or one close to my home, I will leave this charity open. I will allow you to donate to ANY Salvation Army since we are not all in the same area. You can still PM confirmations to me directly, or post them within this thread.

Starting the quarter out with a $10 donation!!! Also, hopefully when I get some free time I will clean out my closet and donate all my old clothes. Thinking this makes sense for Spring and our quarterly charity

^LOL way to go. So are we counting stuff that we can drop off too? I think we should just make a running total of cash collected. However, I would encourage people to post if they drop off or get things picked up from donations as well! That's where most of the inventory the Salvation Army has comes from. This charity is nice this quarter as it gives even people struggling with cash an opportunity to help and donate. I think everybody has some old clothes they do not use any more.

I packed up a lot of old kitchenware. Cups, mugs. Etc. Not yet donated. Really awesome work and very generous of you. I hope it finds a good new home. Remember to record the goods you donate as well, as these are tax deductible! Obviously not the reason for donating, but a nice little benefit for sure.

How should we count items that we drop off? I'd say feel free to post the items or quantities you donated. If you don't want to do that, simply donating and saying you made a dropoff is just as good
