Congrats Poke!!!!!!! Well deserved my friend! If pay did not make a difference but you still had to work, what would you like as a career? The whole point of pursuing software engineering was because I enjoy programming. If I'm at a job that I truly like, it doesn't feel like work at all. That's why the work environment is one of the more important things to me while I'm interviewing with other companies. I want a sense of community between co-workers. If pay didn't make a difference, I wouldn't change my career path because I like what I do.

You still watch Pokemon? Do you have the cards? I haven't watched pokemon in a very long time. I do have a decent collection of cards in my parents' house somewhere. I can probably sell some of them for a decent sum

So does the "poke" mean anything now? Pokemon? Facebook poke? Another kind of poking? Just kept the same name?

python = input("Which version do you use?: ")
if python == "3": print("I use this version too.") else: print("I have never used another version outside of sites like repl.it.")

python = input("Which version do you use?: ") if python == "3": print("I use this version too.") else: print("I have never used another version outside of sites like repl.it.") When I'm developing in python I try to use the latest version. However, sometimes the tools you need to use don't support the latest version of python. In those cases I'm forced to go back to 2.7.

Did you remember to vote? Might catch some flak for this one: I remembered that today was the day to vote but I didn't venture out to complete the act. I didn't take the time to research the issues and have a good enough understanding of them to make an informed decision. I think (as I believe TP pointed out in another thread) that the "responsibility to vote" should be rewritten as "responsibility to make an informed decision when voting" or something. The issues didn't really hit home with me. I've got bigger things to worry about for the time being. This might open up the discussion about non-voters having no right to complain when something they dislike happens. Don't forget the people who vote and then decide they don't like what they voted for. I'll keep my complaints to a minimum. Religion and political discussions are too dramatic for me anyway.

I think we are alike man What's your favorite kind of pop? I tend to fluctuate based on what I've had most recently. I love root beer, dr pepper, and cream soda :]
