Thank you to the forum. In a way, I feel as though I grew up here. I joined this forum when I was sixteen, and I'm twenty five now. I can't remember it quite right, but I think at the time I may have lied about my age to Christina. Christina was a good friend, but I feared rejection. Now, reflecting on it, I know how silly that was. I think I said I was 17. Close enough, I must have thought. I met my first real boyfriend from here, someone I'm no longer with but who accepted me and certainly shaped me into who I am today. I lied to him about my age too, but fessed up in tears the day we actually met. I've started my fair share of drama here. I only hope I have contributed as much positivity as negativity. I've fought with members I cared about, and with others I simply clashed with. But I've always been allowed chances for redemption. Thanks for that. I miss old members, like Fatal who I hear lurks but doesn't really post. I remember having a lot of good laughs with you. I miss Rachel, who after millions of spouts, I found to be a really good friend. Sometimes it's hard to remember why you ever started fighting with someone to begin with. Rachel, your awesome and I miss your spunk. Biased, Andrew, Ryanizme. You've all been a pleasure to have as friends. I miss our never ending threads that never seem to keep anymore. I'm busy. I'm sure you're all busy. Life has a way of becoming that way. A Dream Is A Wish (Old), you're an amazing person. I can't thank you enough for the comfort and council you've given me when I've needed it. I'm glad someone mentioned the love that goes into your posts. Sometimes when I'm tired I think I can't read this right now, but there has never been a time that I've read one of your posts and regretted it. I appreciate your passion, wisdom, and honesty. You're an admirable woman. Thank you to all the new members who add more personality and diversity. This forum is a great place. I recall someone recently made a thread asking about members that had thousands of posts, and had been here for years. The reason so many of us have stuck along is because this community is truly a family. It's evolved over the years as a timeline of all of our lives. It's kept us connected. Offered a safe place for us to vent, ask questions, and converse. It's a wonderful community. And thanks to everyone for being apart of it, and to bigballofyarn for all the time and love she's put into it. Love you all. |

That was beautiful mynameisfred. I think everyone who stuck around has an amazing story to tell. You definitely have contributed a lot to this forum. Fights and clashes will happen everywhere - online and in real life. It's definitely sad when people leave, but I always hope that their decision is because they are living out their dreams somewhere in paradise. I thank you for being a great member and a friend. |
