@adiaw, Congrats.
Now for the tough questions!
- Tell us of a personal experience when you felt like you could have died? Your "nearest" death experience.

Dont suspect. You are welcomed and adored here. This, probably more welcomed than I am. That's not true. You just have problems with self-esteem, so you can't see it! I have those problems a lot of times as well.

@adiaw, Congrats. Now for the tough questions! - Tell us of a personal experience when you felt like you could have died? Your "nearest" death experience. We have really bad winds in California towards the end of the year that we call the "Santa Ana Winds". And in the mountains where I lived most of my life, the wind was really, really awful. One day, the wind was blowing really hard and I decided to sit on the bed in my old room that I never used at the time. (I had two beds in my room and one of them my friends would use to sleep in when they spent the night.) And my cat was hiding under the bed. I heard the sound of a bunch of branches breaking and then the sound of glass shattering as a tree burst into my bedroom and shattered glass and branches all over the bed that I usually slept and sat on when I was relaxing. The curtains caught most of the glass though otherwise it would have been flung to the other side of the room and landed on me. Instead, it all fell onto the bed. It was a HUGE tree and the top of it was still rolling on the roof. It sounded like thunder and I didn't realize it, but the top of the tree was rolling towards where I was sitting on the left side of the room, near the other window and the tree would have crashed through there, too, and rained glass all over me and branches except that the part that went through the window got caught in the window and made the tree stop right before it would have crashed through the window I was a part of. Also, because of the way my room was designed, the branches that went through the roof and stuff, I didn't see because there was space between my ceiling and the roof. And it was such a huge tree that I was told that the only reason it didn't crash through my room completely and crush me was because it landed on the sturdiest part of the roof. When it all stopped, I screamed at the top of my lungs and ran out of the room. My cat ran hysterically out, too. And my neighbors saw the whole thing and called 9-1-1, so a bunch of firemen came and cleaned the glass and branches up. And we called the tree person we knew and they came that day and took the tree off our house. The tree guy said that the tree wasn't even dead. That it was a huge healthy tree, but that it's roots weren't that thick, so the wind was able to completely uproot it. And my brother made a joke because it was three days before Christmas and he said,"Look! God gave you a Christmas tree." Because he always makes jokes, no matter the situation.

WOW^, scary situation. Thanks for posting such a detailed post. I worry too because our house is basically surrounded by huge Pine and a few Oak Trees that are 40/50 ft tall. I always worry about them crashing down on the house and the damage/harm that could be done to the house and the occupants.
