Fave Linux distro and why? Slightly ambiguous question. I currently run Mint on my desktop because it uses the (extensive) Ubuntu package library but it dropped all the Canonical spyware. On my servers I mostly run CentOS these days. My all time favorite is probably still Slackware but I can't explain why past sentimental and stability reasons. -darc |

How are your projects going? I miss the updates. I finished up the Python class a few weeks ago with a 91%. I suppose that's not bad since I failed to complete one of the projects while I was in Poland. I'm currently working on one "fun" project in Python with the Kivy framework and another using Backbone.js, Dust.js, and probably Spring MVC for the REST API. The only problem is I have to learn Backbone and Dust... and I hate Javascript so hard -darc |

Penguin, of course. (assuming we're grouping birds in with "animals") Emperor penguins are cool but they get a lot of publicity so I'm also particularly partial to the macaroni penguin and the chinstrap penguin.... gentoo's are okay too I suppose. -darc |

Eesh, that's a tough one. I always really like the Matrix series but they're getting pretty old now. More recently, I enjoyed The Island. These days... I don't even know. I'm not very picky - I even enjoy watching terrible movies because the terribleness amuses me. For example I watched "You Can't Kill Stephen King" last night and enjoyed myself (especially when I realized one of the main characters was in the "Girls Watch Porn!" collegehumor sketch) : Kate Costello : I can't think of one at the moment but if I come up with an answer then I'll post back. -darc |
