Ever known anyone who died from mental illness? Not personally, no. The closest person I have to fit this description is my grandfather, although I never met him. He committed suicide because of post traumatic stress disorder (from the Vietnam War) and schizophrenia. |

I've been struggling not to think of the past as much and not to feel guilty constantly. My Mom makes me feel guilty a lot all the time, so I always feel regret about things to do with her. I also feel regret over stupid things I did in the beginning of my relationship with my fiance just because I was terrified of the fact that I was falling in love with him. I feel guilty over them, even though he readily forgave me. I regret not confronting some people about ways they've hurt me or were upsetting me before they died. Sometimes I bottle up my anger too much, so I have these confused and unresolved angry feelings that are still there when someone dies who was close to me sometimes. I also regret not going to a different college. |
