(I hope this doesn't come off as racist)
I was watching some standup and a guy was doing an obama impression in front of a mainly black audience and he mentioned killing bin laden and the crowd was silent. If the crowd were white I think someone would have cheered or clapped or something.
I mean I'm sure they don't support Osama, but did they get all amped up about his death like the average white person?
It even led to a discussion by the comedian who was also black. He said "Yeah, we only care about our own history."

I guess the joke was more of a thing that black people are more interested in black history ??
But I don't think white people care that bin laden died either.

I may have seen something similar on TV.
Chris Rock was talking about Bin Laden a few weeks ago and make some joke that no one in the crowd even heard of the guy
I didn't get it.

I don't think there is a racial difference in the opinion of Bin Laden's death. Not sure where the comedian was going.

No one excited like tom cruise on oprahs couch. But I guess there was just that general feeling of pride in america.... which most people DO have.
