Formatting will have to be redone but are less of an issue since it seems that V5 makes that pretty easy, but many other codes do not work properly or at all.

As far as reactivation, the reasons are less important than the reality.
I think one issue is multiple passwords on multiple forums.

^It shouldn't be linking accounts on multiple forums, unless you have multiple user names.

It's supposed to make global logging in easier, like if I registered the same user name on 20 proboards.

Exactly.
How many passwords do you have post re-activation with global login?
One.
However, some people currently have multiple usernames and multiple passwords and don't realize that it is the case or realize that they can establish multiple profiles.
It's new to them like it is to all of us but many are less savvy than others.

I guess we'll all see how it goes. At least we're together in the sense that we'll all have to upgrade, and Christina will have to reformat.

So we can work through the change as a group.
