A Rock Hill, N.C., woman knew something was in her attic when she heard a thump and then saw some nails start popping out from her bedroom ceiling one night.

The man had been living in the attic for about two weeks, WCNC reports, noting that the ex-boyfriend was recently released from jail.

Apparently, he got out of jail about 2 weeks ago for stealing her car and has been living in her attic since he got out.

lol.. My friend bought a house around the corner from me about a year ago... a month in he called me to come over and bring my gun because he was hearing noises in the attic and he thought someone might be up there. edit: because the house had been vacant for like 8 months before he bought it. it turned out just to be a couple mice and I thought he was nuts for thinking it might be a person, but after this article, I guess anything is possible

If I heard something like that or saw nails coming out of my ceiling I think I would find out what it was asap.
