getting up might be a b**ch. Sit back and let the boat get you up and don't yank your arms in. Let that rope stay long.

Don't lock your legs out when you're trying to get up, you'll just turn the board into a plow and have the handle ripped out of your hands. Bend your knees up to your chest and let the boat pull you up over the board and THEN stand up.

keep your knees bent and stay flexible, spend some time outside of the wake getting used to the board and how it cuts - shifting your weight does all of the work
