has anyone done this?

scenario: you have windows 7 installed, and you shrink your C: drive to install windows 8, then use windows 8 boot manager to decide which OS you want to boot.

I have done this with Windows 7, XP and 98 all at the same time, but I haven't tried a developer preview yet.
