How old were you when you started to learn sign language? How did you come to understand that you are deaf?

I was less than 1 year when i start to learn sign. I thot i can remember it except mother thot its a dream but i remember i didn't no why ppl look at other person and then they start to smile or else laff and they didn't move there hands.

So you could see people using their mouth, and you could see they were communicating somehow and you realized you couldnt do it ? Or something like that?

If you dont know a sign for a word, what do you do? Do you finger spell it?

Yes. Also when some body will learn to sign first of all they will finger spell EVERY thing. I am patient person also im so happy if they will learn to sign except i can understand it if hearing ppl will get little bit frustration to try to talk to me.
