Just had a quiet evening here, which was a surprise, as everyone else left to see fireworks. Drat, couldn't call the police. Guess business was bad enough for the a-hole neighbors that they couldn't get any fireworks (being landscapers with the economy in the toilet and the big-assed drought we're having = people aren't as willing to have their dying lawns trimmed by someone you have to pay). Wah, too bad.
